Everything was so good! First time having Bosnian food. The restaurant has small, modern, and very clean. The lady taking orders a the front counter was so welcoming and helpful. Two of us split the Cevapi sandwich, which was full of small freshly grilled beef/lamb "sausages", which had the texture of a kabob. The spices were subtle so the meat flavor stood out and was delicious. There were fresh slices of onion and a tasty roasted red pepper sauce (Ajvar) to go with the sandwich. The bread was a grilled flat bread with a very soft texture. For sides we shared a Lupus Salata (cabbage salad) and French fries. The cabbage salad was similar to coleslaw made with a mild vinegar dressing. This was the best cabbage salad/slaw I've ever eaten. Given that I travel through Missouri a few times a year, I look forward to eating wonderful Bosnian food again. This was just such a great experience.

Always greeted with a genuine warm welcome. Bring an appetite...servings are huge. Authentic Bosnian fare prepared to order. Usually bring half the food home, as well as something yummy from the dessert case.

Ukusno! This place was delicious! I was recommended to this place by some Bosnian friends and it did not disappoint! The food was incredible; easily the best Balkan food I've had in America. The bread, the cevapi, the burek, the kajmak it was all prepared perfectly! I couldn't stop eating! I finished a large cevapi order to myself! The kupus salata was also very tasty. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in STL. Great service and an overall wonderful dining experience.

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! We were visiting St Louis for the weekend, and I knew there was a huge Bosnian community here and I had to try Bosnian Cuisine. After looking at a few options on Yelp, I decided to eat here. It was my first time dining at a Bosnian restaurant, but I am thinking I may have found the best at my first try! This place is not that big, so we were lucky we found a table on a Saturday night. I chose the Sarme, cabbage rolls. My boyfriend got chicken ala king. They were served with their homemade bread (it was great) and my Sarme was sublime. It was so good I feel sad that I live hours away from there. The sauce, the rice and meat inside the cabbage- everything was so perfect. Chicken ala king was also tasty. Rich creamy cheesy sauce. The rice was so good too. If I lived nearby, I'd definitely go there at least 2 nights a week! That's how good it was. Dinner menu was all reasonably priced. It's crazy to think they were both under $15, considering the quality! The owner served us and he was so cool too. I've been in St Louis several time now and I regret I had not come here sooner.

I have returned a number of times for lunch. I truly enjoy the melding of flavors in every dish I have tried. I like the beef soup with a slab of homemade bread for lunch. It is home cooking at its best when dining out! The counter staff was very helpful and cheerful. I utilized the bathroom on this visit and was pleased by how accessible it was. It was clean and roomy.

We started the meal with the Trahana soup, a traditional Bosnian soup with sourdough and chicken. This was delicious! For the entree, we opted for the Mjesano meso which is a mixed platter of meat and the cevapi. For the platter, the fries and the chicken was excellent. I thought the other 2 meats were a bit too fried as they were dripping in oil. The meat in the cevapi was also a bit fried. I also thought the bread could have been toasted a bit more as it was quite soft. We also got the Bosnian coffee on the side and the presentation and taste were both great!
